Vineyard Row Demilune Nightstand

The Vineyard Row Demilune Nightstand from Hooker draws its character from the landscapes and architecture of California wine country — Spanish missions, weathered bungalows, the curved staves of an oak barrel. That last reference shapes the piece most directly: the half-moon silhouette and high-low veneer planking evoke the look of a barrel's curved face, built up in Pecky Hickory veneers and resin and finished in Sonoma, a pale, sun-washed tone that reads like morning light through a cellar window.

The details are where the design earns its craft credentials. Rustic hammered metal bar hardware and metal stretchers carry the winery reference without becoming literal, while seeded glass panels add quiet depth. Behind the two doors, soft-close hinges and magnetic catches make opening and closing feel deliberate and unhurried — no rattling, no forced latching. Two adjustable wood shelves inside keep the interior genuinely useful rather than just decorative. Interlocking pulls tie the hardware together into a coherent whole, and the overall effect is a nightstand that looks like it belongs somewhere with good wine and better light.
