Tamarack Cocktail Table

The Hammary Tamarack Cocktail Table is built around one genuinely striking material choice: a plank-style top laid in thick Pecky Pecan veneers, finished to read like wood that's lived a long, good life. Pecky Pecan has a natural character all its own — the irregular grain, the subtle pocking, the warm tonal variation — and the distressed finish deepens that, giving the surface a hand-worn quality that looks earned rather than applied. Underneath, a solid hardwood base with splayed legs, hexagonal stretchers, and corner braces brings real structural presence to the design. The geometry of that base is quietly interesting: the hexagonal stretcher detail keeps it from reading as plain craftsman, while the overall silhouette stays grounded and unfussy. At 52 inches wide, it sits comfortably in front of a full sofa without crowding the room.
