Newpoint Sofa
The Newpoint is a Smith Brothers sofa built the way their sofas have always been built — frame by frame, by hand, in their Indiana factory. The construction begins with a kiln-dried hardwood frame, corner-blocked and doweled, and everything that follows is fitted and finished with the same care. It shows in the way the piece sits and holds its shape over years of use.
The upholstery is a light sage green woven fabric with a quiet texture that reads as both relaxed and considered. Three boxed seat cushions run across the front — each one filled and tailored to hold its form — while three loose back cushions give you something genuinely comfortable to settle into and adjust as you like. Low track arms keep the silhouette clean and unfussy, and the skirted base, finished with three front panels, gives the whole piece a tailored, grounded presence that suits a well-furnished room. Two square accent pillows in a cream and light green stripe come included, pulling a second tone out of the fabric and giving the sofa a finished look straight from delivery.
At 87 inches, the Newpoint seats three comfortably without crowding and without sprawling. It is the kind of sofa you buy once.
